More Than a Fundraiser: Community, Coffee, and a Calling to Cainta

Last weekend, Arbor Christian Fellowship transformed a Saturday into a celebration of faith and community, with car washes, haircuts, and artisan drinks from Cafe Koyan—including Matcha Horchata, Ube Foam Cold Brew, Horchata Latte, and the bright, zingy Matcha Fresa—raising funds for their upcoming mission trip to Cainta, Rizal, Philippines. The team, inspired by God’s provision, will return in April 2026 with expanded outreach, including Vacation Bible School, medical and feeding ministries, leadership training, and programs for women and youth. The event also highlighted Arbor’s ongoing commitment to missions through the Cooperative Program (CP), which supports the International Mission Board (IMB) and the North American Mission Board (NAMB), as well as opportunities for women at the Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU) Awaken Conference and the NAMB Women’s Evangelism Conference. From suds and clippers to coffee cups and prayer, the day reflected a community united by faith, generosity, and a shared mission to bring hope to Cainta.
