WMU Women’s Autumn Lunch
Good Food, Sweet Fellowship and Time Set Apart for the Lord’s Work
There is something special about these times when women set aside an afternoon to gather around the table, share a meal and simply talk—about motherhood, memories, what God has been teaching us and the ways we’ve seen His faithfulness. At Arbor’s WMU Women’s Autumn Lunch, there is always plenty of conversation, beautiful women-led worship, prayers for missionaries celebrating birthdays and, often, the joyful sound of our church’s littlest girls singing their hearts out for God’s glory. And then there is the food: homemade with love, beautifully spread by women who know how to make a table feel welcoming, with gluten-free options and plenty of delectable desserts. It’s an afternoon to slow down, reconnect, encourage one another and turn our hearts toward the Lord’s work, both here and around the world.

Arbor Christian Fellowship’s Halo-ween is a free, family-friendly alternative to Halloween that offers a joyful and faith-filled afternoon of fun, connection and fellowship. Held on Saturday, October 24, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., this heartwarming event features sweet treats, a Cake Walk, Trunk-or-Treating, games and festive activities in a safe and welcoming environment. Set amidst the beauty of autumn in Lake Forest, Halo-ween is more than an afternoon of fun — it’s a chance to share Christ’s love with children and families, creating a safe and joyful place where everyone is welcomed, cherished and reminded of God’s goodness.

To the Tenth Generation Bible Study: A Bible Study for Parents
Discover how faithful choices made today can shape your family’s faith and legacy for generations to come.
Parents are invited to a new Bible study beginning Sept. 16 that explores how everyday parenting choices can build a lasting legacy of faith. Led by Arbor father of three Mike Stringer, the study will explore To the Tenth Generation and encourage parents to look beyond the daily demands of family life toward cultivating a gospel-centered family culture that can impact generations to come.
Awana Kickoff Night
A Fun and Faith-Filled Night for Kids Ages 4–8th Grade — Bible Lessons, Games and More
Arbor Christian Fellowship invites families to our Awana Kickoff on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. Enjoy a free family dinner at 6 p.m., followed by the Awana program from 6:30–7:45 p.m. Awana is a time-tested, Christ-centered program that helps children hide God’s Word in their hearts through Bible study, scripture memory, engaging activities, prayer and small-group discipleship. We serve kids from age 4 through 8th grade. Every child is deeply valued and welcomed—come be part of something lasting and life-giving!

Kids Alive Kickoff Night
A Joyful Night of Music, Movement, and Faith for Kids — and a Break for Parents Too
Join us for the Kids Alive Kickoff Night on Friday, September 11th from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Arbor Christian Fellowship! Kids Alive is our longest-running children’s ministry, beloved for its high-energy blend of music, movement, and meaningful faith-building. Children learn fun choreography to worship songs, take part in drama and speaking roles, and prepare for two exciting musicals each year. It’s a joyful space where kids grow in faith, confidence and creativity—all in a safe, encouraging environment. This free program also offers parents a well-deserved evening break while their children engage in uplifting and Christ-centered activities.

Yes, even baking is an art form, and we'd be delighted to enjoy your creations! Artists of all ages and skill levels are welcome. Together, we'll assemble Comfort Cups—mugs filled with tea, treats, practical gifts and encouraging Christian items for members of our church family who are facing difficult seasons. Join us for The Best Week of the Year—Arbor Christian Fellowship’s FREE Vacation Bible School, happening July 20–24, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to noon each day. Kids will enjoy a fun, faith-filled week featuring engaging Bible lessons, energetic music, choreography, crafts, active games, and a focus on global missions—all designed to teach the unchanging truth of God’s Word. VBS at Arbor is more than just fun—it’s a chance for children to grow in their relationship with God, make new friends, and experience His love in unforgettable ways.

Arbor Christian Fellowship's Community Food Bank provides free groceries and encouragement to individuals and families in a warm, welcoming environment where the love of Christ is shared with our community. Due to the Fourth of July holiday, our final July 2026 food distribution will be held on Saturday, July 18, from 10:30–11:30 a.m. We invite anyone in need of food assistance to join us, and our regular first and third Saturday schedule will resume in August.

July Fourth Weekend Worship at Arbor
A Time of Worship, Prayer and God’s Word—Fourth of July Weekend
Arbor Christian Fellowship warmly invites you to join us for a special Fourth of July Weekend Worship Service on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at 10:45 a.m. This family-friendly gathering will include congregational worship, prayer and Bible teaching from Pastor Jonathan, along with a joyful children’s moment featuring Scripture recitation as our kids share verses they have been memorizing (Psalm 119:11). As we commemorate our nation’s 250th birthday, we will give thanks for God’s faithfulness, pray for our country and gather together in worship and reflection on His unchanging Word. Following the reading of the day’s Scripture passage, children will be dismissed to Children’s Church, and the whole church family is invited to worship, pray and celebrate God’s goodness together.

Star Quest: Kids Alive Musical – Sunday Morning Presentation
A joyful children’s musical celebrating the power of Scripture memorized
For 38 years, Kids Alive at Arbor Christian Fellowship has shared Scripture through lively, joy-filled musicals. In Star Quest: Search for the Stolen Scriptures, the crew of spaceship J-316 races to restore God’s Word after a villain begins deleting passages from the Intergalactic Bible Database. When they meet believers who have memorized Scripture, hope is restored. With music, choreography, and a powerful message, this Scripture Memory Musical reminds us that God’s Word in our hearts can never be taken.
Star Quest: Kids Alive Musical – Saturday Evening Presentation
A dynamic Kids Alive musical where Scripture, music and dancing come together to share the gospel in an unforgettable way
