An Afternoon of Fellowship, Worship, Encouragement & Serving Others

Ladies, you're warmly invited to join us for Arbor Christian Fellowship's Summer Sonshine Women's Ministries Lunch on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from noon to 3 p.m.

Come enjoy a beautiful afternoon of Christ-centered fellowship featuring a delicious, hand-crafted gourmet luncheon, heartfelt worship, prayer for missionaries and an encouraging message designed to uplift our hearts and refocus our minds on the things that truly matter. Together, we'll be reminded to keep our eyes on Christ and the eternal hope we have in Him:

"So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

Our theme is the comfort and hope of the Gospel—the unfailing love of God, so freely given through Jesus Christ. As recipients of His comfort, we have the privilege of sharing that same comfort with others.

As part of our luncheon, we'll assemble Comfort Cups for members of our church family who are walking through difficult seasons. Each Comfort Cup includes a mug filled with comforting treats, practical gifts, encouraging Christian resources and a handwritten note to remind each recipient that they are loved, prayed for and never alone.

Comfort Cup Donation Ideas

If you'd like to participate, please bring one or more of the following items:

• Large mugs or cups

• Herbal tea bags

• Honey packets

• Hot chocolate packets

• Microwave popcorn

• Individually wrapped snacks (crackers, cookies, gummies, nuts, etc.)

• Granola bars

• Lip balm (ChapStick)

• Pocket packs of tissues

• Facial spa masks

• Emery boards or nail files

• Nail clippers

• Novelty pens

• Small notepads or sticky notes

• Playing cards

• Single-pack air fresheners

• Rolls of hard candy or breath mints

• Small Christian gifts or novelties that fit inside a mug (bookmarks, keychains, magnets, Scripture cards, etc.)

Whether you're a longtime member or visiting Arbor for the first time, we'd love for you to join us for this special afternoon of fellowship, worship, service and encouragement as we celebrate the hope we have in Christ and share His love with others.
