What if the choices you make at the kitchen table tonight could shape your family’s faith for generations to come?

Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 16, parents are invited to a new Bible study designed to help us look beyond the daily grind of parenting and toward the lasting spiritual legacy God can build through our families.

The evening begins with a free family dinner at 6 p.m., followed by the Awana Opening Ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Parents will then head to the Bible study, led by Mike Stringer, an Awana parent and dad of three who is excited to welcome and encourage fellow parents.

Together, we’ll study To the Tenth Generation: God’s Heart for Your Family, Far Into the Future by Ray Ortlund and Jani Ortlund. The book invites parents to consider the bigger story God is writing through their families, reminding us that faithful efforts today can help shape a culture of faith that reaches far beyond our own lifetime.

It’s easy to get swallowed up by the immediate demands of family life — bedtime routines, screen-time limits, homework, schedules and the seemingly endless chaos of the week. But what if we stepped back and asked a bigger question: What are we passing down?

This study will encourage parents to think beyond simply surviving today and consider how the ordinary choices we make at home can cultivate a family culture where the gospel is beautiful, alive and worth passing on. The book explores marriage, home life, parenting and even grandparenting through a multigenerational lens, offering encouragement to families who want their faith to make a lasting difference.

What better reason to gather than to learn how a few God-honoring tweaks in our parenting today could impact our families for generations to come?

Bible study concludes at 7:40 p.m., giving attendees plenty of time to pick up their children when Awana ends at 7:45 p.m.
