Greater Love: A Valentine’s Evening Rooted in John 15:12–13

On February 14, 2026, Arbor Christian Fellowship hosted a joyful Valentine’s Dinner—our first with Pastor Jonathan as official pastor—bringing our church family together for an evening of Italian cuisine, uplifting music, and meaningful fellowship. Guests enjoyed Mike Stringer’s hearty homemade meatball soup and delightful gluten-free dishes and desserts thoughtfully prepared by Melissa Baker. From Deacon Greg Wideen’s Sinatra-style serenades inspired by Frank Sinatra and special music by The Arbor Angels and Charley Troxel, to Pastor Jonathan’s message on Christ’s enduring, sacrificial love, every detail reflected prayerful preparation and purpose. With gracious leadership from Deacon Liles Cobb and Lou, and lively hosting by emcee Elizabeth Johnson—featuring games and a spirited auction with creative date packages and Liles’ famous strawberry pie—the evening beautifully celebrated steadfast love that unites and strengthens our church family.

A Joyful Start to a New Season: Awana Kickoff Night Welcomes Children and Families

The night began with a shared dinner, followed by a meaningful opening ceremony featuring salutes to the flags, the Awana anthem, important announcements, and a time of prayer. Each club—Cubbies, Sparks, T&T, and the newly launched Trek for 7th and 8th graders—then began their journey of Scripture memory, biblical teaching, and high-energy activities designed to help children hide God’s Word in their hearts and grow in their faith.
