Summer Sonshine: A Beautiful Afternoon of Fellowship, Worship and Missions
Arbor women gathered Saturday, Aug. 8, for a beautiful afternoon of fellowship, worship, prayer and missions at the Summer Sonshine Women’s Ministries Lunch & Comfort Cup Ministry. From worship with Christine Dickinson and a joyful performance by the Arbor Angels to creative prayer for missionaries, a celebration of missions history, an encouraging VBS recap and updates from Cameroon and the Philippines, the afternoon highlighted God’s faithfulness and the call to reach others with the gospel. The gathering concluded with Brenda Troxel’s Comfort Cup ministry, as women lovingly assembled gifts of encouragement for members of the Arbor family walking through difficult seasons — a fitting end to a day centered on going, giving, praying, serving and loving others in Jesus’ name.
Returning to the Value of Life: Looking Back on an Unforgettable Week at Zoomerang VBS
As we reflect on this year's Zoomerang: Returning to the Value of Life Vacation Bible School, our hearts are still full as we remember all God accomplished through His Word. Throughout the week, children eagerly carried their Bibles, opened the Scriptures for themselves, memorized God's truth and discovered that every person is fearfully and wonderfully made in His image. Time and again, we were reminded that God's truth never changes—and that children are remarkably capable and hungry for the truth found in His Word. Through Bible lessons, thoughtful discussions, worship, Scripture memory, active games, crafts and missions, children learned that every life is precious because every person is created in the image of God. We also witnessed the Lord faithfully strengthen and sustain the volunteers who served through every challenge. We thank God for every child, every family and every seed of His truth planted for His glory and the advancement of His kingdom.
Returning to the Value of Life: An Australian Outback Adventure Awaits at Arbor's Vacation Bible School
Arbor Christian Fellowship's 2026 Vacation Bible School, Zoomerang, invites children entering Kindergarten through 6th grade on an unforgettable Australian Outback adventure where they will discover that every person is wonderfully made in the image of God and every life is precious to Him. Throughout the week, children will open and use their Bibles during age-appropriate Bible studies, sing Christ-centered, Scripture-rich songs, enjoy outdoor games that reinforce daily memory verses, create hands-on crafts, explore real-life missions and participate in engaging science experiments from Answers in Genesis that demonstrate how true scientific discovery aligns with God's Word. Building on last year's archaeological adventure, this year's theme returns children to the timeless truth that God's Word never changes and equips them to stand confidently on a biblical foundation. Vacation Bible School will be held July 20–24, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, with Family Night on Thursday, July 23, at 6 p.m., and the always-anticipated Water Day on Friday. As our church family prepares for this special week, we invite you to pray that every child will hear and receive the Gospel, grow in their love for God's Word and come to understand their God-given value, purpose and place in His kingdom.
Expanding the Mission in Cainta Philippines 2026: Bigger Team, Deeper Impact, New Ministries
What began as a step of faith has now become a full-scale, multi-faceted ministry in Cainta, Philippines—led by passionate believers eager to share the love of Christ. Following the impact of their 2025 mission, the team is returning in 2026 with expanded outreach: a five-day Vacation Bible School, a more holistic medical mission, a new “Mother’s Care” ministry, and the return of the impactful Toughguys martial arts program. Joined by new team members and backed by a growing vision, this next chapter will also launch a leadership conference to equip young local leaders and continue feeding and serving families with both physical nourishment and spiritual hope. As relationships deepen and ministries multiply, one thing remains clear—God is powerfully writing the next chapter in Cainta, and this team is ready to be His hands and feet.
Digging Into the Truth: An Unforgettable Vacation Bible School Week at Arbor Christian Fellowship
Arbor Christian Fellowship’s 2025 Vacation Bible School, held from July 21–25, was a joyful, faith-filled week where children became “junior archaeologists” in a themed program called Destination Dig, uncovering biblical truths through worship, crafts, games, and immersive lessons. Set against a backdrop of historical discoveries like the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Pool of Siloam, children explored Scripture hands-on, guided by Jeremiah 29:13. The week also emphasized missions, with children learning about global outreach and raising funds for international ministries. Highlights included the Israeli Shekels Shop, themed snacks, Water Day, and a fun-filled grand finale that capped off what many called “the best week ever.”

This summer, Arbor Christian Fellowship is excited to present Vacation Bible School 2025: Destination Dig, a free, weeklong adventure for children from July 21–25, running daily from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Kids will step into the role of junior archaeologists as they explore real-world biblical discoveries and uncover the truth about Jesus through hands-on activities, engaging Bible lessons, music, crafts, and more. Designed to inspire curiosity and deepen faith, Destination Dig invites children to "seek truth and find Jesus" in a fun, welcoming environment rooted in Scripture and community.
